Candy was in need of a little fresh air. It can be hard to have college kids back home, especially when they don't feel good.
So we went to make some returns at Renaissance and enjoy strolling in an uncrowded shopping center. Can you guess where we went? Saltine.
Mary Grace and I sampled 3 different raw oysters from Canada and Virginia. Wood fired oysters were great too. Friends Margaret and David walked in unexpectedly and joined us.
They were celebrating that they had had oysters 30 years ago to the day on their honeymoon.
Sad news...Aunt Ruby passed away yesterday. So now I'm doing what every southern girl does...cooks food. Jan is making soup and I'm providing the cornbread and breakfast muffins.
