More fun

Barely noticed these tiny guys. It looked like a mini baked potato

They had no stem at all.

Great color of green.

He had a very short stem.

Lovely gills.

Got to see Lucy. All the dogs love her.

Coco was really overdoing it.

Better post a few before pictures of the Raymond store. It will be called “The Busted Biscuit”.

We have a lovely blank canvas.

Snuggle bug.

She keeps us entertained. I’m not sure what this is. She does it a lot.

Whatever.

Jan got us some strawberries from our new favorite produce stand in Gluckstadt. They grew them right there!

That prompted me to go there the next day. Lady peas!

While I was there I got to see their pet Brahmin cows.

She was beautiful. She loved to be petted.

They all came over except her baby who stayed back. Goats too.

Here are the two boys.

Fun with fungi

Looks like mushroom season is coming back. These were at the site of the new Raymond restaurant.

These were chalk white.

These were along our path in back.

Snuggled up to roots.

Pretty baby.

And since Chris and I both love mushrooms, I got this little charm to represent him.

Saw this cute fox squirrel near our neighborhood entrance. Hope he stays safe. He looks young and inexperienced.

I have high hopes for these babies.

Recent Stewpot visit with my Methodist Circle. We were impressed and humbled by the hard work and dedication these workers and volunteers do. There is so much more to Stewpot than serving lunch. We left vowing to help all we could.

Mother’s Day

Gathered at S&P’s for brunch.  Mom and I got lovely gifts.

Look at these gorgeous roses from MG and Ryan.

The food was all so good.

Ordered a little pepper charm to remember our Lafayette trip.

Pepper

Yellow dog in the sun.

Finally got plants for my pots.

I planted around my volunteer pumpkin vine.

Thunderstorms had Coco in my lap.

I can see why I never became a potter. My 8th grade vase.

Rain brought out some new friends.

Took them home and found the perfect vase.

Feet on head.

Sweet girl.

Some views from Mary Grace’s porch. And I don’t mean lake views.

Old man Dupree

Pippin

Cletus. What can I even say about this one.

My healthy breakfast was pretty beautiful.

Things currently making me happy

Sitting on the deck with a crisp rose, trying to keep mosquitoes at bay. Citronella candle.

Bug away incense.

Good book.

Visited Amy2 and Bobbin.

He loves to be outside in his harness.

I ran out of deodorant and found this in the cabinet. I have had an odd craving for pina coladas all day
