Sophie Wolf's Day Off

So , if you don't want to celebrate in a big way, then don't tell me you want a special day. Sophie is about to embark on a new school year at her job at Millsaps. Next week will bring students and parents from all over the state, country and world back to campus. She had a bit of comp time built up and vacation day was declared. I dubbed the day Sophie Wolf's day off in a reference to the classic movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Her day went much better than his. It started like this.

Jan had a meeting at work but got in on the end

 

Weather was perfect and as most impromptu gatherings seem to go, it was fun

 

followed by late Nagoya lunch, then a visit to Mamaw!

 

we noticed that Sophie, Mary Grace and I all had on red shoes.

 

Mom said "mine aren't red but I want mine in there too". So in came the little SAS. Hope you enjoyed your day baby. Now back to the job at hand! The last fling of summer is over.
