Camping and such

Mom and I went to Moore's for our spring plants. We had fun shopping for plants and lunch. We went to the popular City Grill in Madison. It was noon and busy. We had pushed ourselves to our hunger limit and were barely holding it together. At least I was. By the time our fabulous food came there was no time for photography. We fell on the food like we had just gotten out of prison. Argggh.

Brought the plants home and Ivy and Truffles helped pot them.

Can't wait to use fresh herbs again.

The only one that survived this extra cold winter was rosemary.

Next , on to the camping trip. Here is Brody arriving with a flourish.

Check out all that stuff new parents have to bring. Cary looks like a pack mule.

Before we got there Tommy found these. He is always lucky.

Had a fire that evening. It was nice and cool.

Sunset, time for a walk.

That's Ivy.

Look at these nuts. They had so much fun together.

They went Geo caching next morning and then I went with them that afternoon. Look what we found! Maybe we could play this at the beach. Nah, too small.

MG made friends at one of the sites.

Brody looks on at tomahawk throwing. David and Mary Grace took their turns.

Getting dinner ready. Paul took this but somehow ended up in no pictures :(

so good. I burned the bread twice this weekend...

Mom took a walk and was greeted by a finish line.

Morning boys

I prefer the Styrofoam cup to my educational ones.

Got my Mother's day gift early from Mary Grace and Ryan.

This little minx kept trying to steal it.

Take a selfie with my phone and you get blogged.

Packing up.

On a sad note, there is one time honored thing that will not be returning.

The Mary Grace memorial burn chair. It is ripping at the seat. She used to always have a stick with a red glowing end by the campfire. It was only natural to burn holes in your seat. Right?
