Showered with love.

What a wonderful day! The day of Ivy's shower arrived sunny and cool. She and Tripp had spent the night at our house so I had fun feeding her a favorite throw back breakfast of chocolate chip muffins and link sausage. We headed out to find a dress since she had lost 25 pounds (!) in recent months.

After successfully landing two dresses and boots for me..

We revived ourselves at Biaggi's with a split chicken parm.

Mary Grace suggested some pre-shower drinks at County Seat at Livingston. Then we walked to the Farmer's Table. What a lovely venue, filled with light and natural surfaces.

Ivy and some of her besties and bridesmaids. Katie, Taylor and Jessie.

The table welcomed us with towers of food and flowers.

The crowd gathered. That little stump in the back held a skillet of hot Brie topped with almonds and a sweet sauce. Also there were chicken salad stuffed endive leaves. All so good.

Tiny strawberry cheesecake bites alongside chocolate cups.

Loved the all green and white flowers.

Levity at this table! So glad Candy made it after being so sick.

It was all so fun.

Every table had a little signature pink.

Mom and daughters.

Proud grandma.

Presents! Big sis taking notes.

She was so happy.

Even though Doris played a prank on her by wrapping paper plates and cups, she was gracious and unflappable. She said " well I can always use party supplies"!  Doris then followed by giving her a beautiful picnic basket.

This cute pillow from Bev brought tears and awwws.

The lovely hostesses. Only Kathy was missing due to illness.

Caught the girls outside comparing bridesmaids dresses.

Yes , those will do. Great day. Fabulous friends. I couldn't ask for better peeps to travel life's roads with.
