I got on the bus

What a fun day. The Merkoskey / Norwood bus picked me up. They said pack a sandwich and drink and climb aboard. 

Headed to Lefleur’s  Bluff State park. We used to call it Riverside Park. 

They have a gorgeous playground now. They climbed, swang, and played for almost 2 hours. Broke for a windy picnic lunch. 

Then walked a small trail to the museum only to learn that we needed to enter on the state park side. 

Found it!!

It was such a pretty walk through a cypress swamp. 

Even saw 2 alligators. One huge one and a little toddler. This one was the toddler. He was about 3 feet long and chubby. 

Leila and Emily loved the pretty flowers.  

It even led us beside the Pearl River what a day! Tune in tomorrow to see where the bus is headed.
