Car show.

Wanted to get outside in the beautiful day. There was a European car show at Renaissance. 

It was a lot of fun. Beautiful cars and weather. Mary Grace , Ryan and their friends the Jones. 

This looked almost like the one Vick had in college. I’m pretty sure you couldn’t see the street through the floorboards of this one like we could in hers. We loved that little car when it worked. 

We got to enjoy the results of the partial eclipse.  See the crescent shaped shadows and light?

It was fun showing the kids. 

Lumen always watches out for Mary Grace. So sweet.

Fair

Yep. We went to the Fair. Mary Grace , Vick and I. Lovely cool temps. First stop …Penn’s chicken on a stick for Vick and I. Then rib eye sandwich for MG. No pics. We just dug in.

Great day

It was so cool this morning. Everyone had lots of energy. 

Ed even had the girls help pick up sticks. 

Ivy came to town and we visited Mamaw. Flowers of course. 

Great visit. 

Met Sophie for lunch at Kristos. Today the fries were perfect. 

Weather was perfect for the patio. 

Then we took Sophie to Webster to adopt a dog! She had seen her online. So cute and tiny. 

She is full grown and precious

65th birthday party

Murrah Class of ‘76 turns 65 this year. We gathered at the AG museum to celebrate. 

The committee went all out on decor.

It says “ To one end. Love the other”. As the 2 shortest Murrah Misses, we were on opposite ends of the line. 

The food was actually excellent.

Book Club Halloween edition

We entered Pam’s house and were in for a treat. She had decorated her house for Halloween. This room was magical.

High school friends. We gathered at Caet for dinner. Tomorrow is our class’s 65th birthday celebration. More on that later. 

Coming back to life.

Spent a lot of time this week feeling tired. Napping daily and reading books. I finally felt better and busted Mary Grace out. Had a lovely lunch at Local 463 and walked through a couple of stores. Then we were exhausted. Oh well, it’s progress.
