March - in like a lamb

Been doing a little research. This is the Ellis church near Carthage. Mt. Horab Methodist church. It existed 1914-1961. Here we were celebrating the decommissioning of the church. The building was the moved and given to the Choctaw Indian Methodist mission nearby. I’m the little kid in front. 

Discovered a window had been given to honor the congregation. I called the Carthage Methodist church. 

The secretary sent me a picture of it. She didn’t know anything about it. I’ll dig more. 

Took Coco to visit Neil. The Patrick’s new Welsh Corgi. She was so excited. 

Don’t they look alike? 

Pippin was jealous. 

Violets are blooming. Love them. 

February

Valentine’s Day and anniversary. Roses and candy. 

Scallops and lobster tail to celebrate. 

Mom enjoyed Nandy’s candy from Jan. I picked some fun St Patrick’s Day decorations for her door. 

Sweet UMW friends got me flowers. I was going through radiation therapy this whole month. 

Kathy had us for Book Club. Loved Memorial Days by Geraldine Brooks. 

Of course the food was delicious. 

Coco is just a healthy girl. 

Last fire of the season. 

After I finished my first round of radiation, I made tiny bouquets for the techs and receptionist.
