The hole

Coco made a hole.

And sat in it.

Then no one wanted the hole.

I took these lilies last Saturday before Easter. I went up there the next Saturday to throw them out. They were gorgeous. Easter Sunday is really not the end, but the beginning.

Crazy good chicken pot pie.

If I do say so myself.

Plants

My plants are thriving after recent rain.

Always have to have my pinks.

Hope to get my old succulent back in the light pot.

Sweet Kathy managed to keep this part alive. Hope I can give some back. It was originally my Aunt D’s. It has lived all over. Sophie had it for a while. Mom had it at Riverwood.

Got high hopes for this coleus.

Got a little jade plant. Different from the Little Man.

Last one.

Easter 2025

Busted Mom out. Mary Grace looking beautiful.

We told Ryan he looked so young with his beard gone and hair long.

Sophie and Paul both getting so small.

Tommy and Jan.

Table set

English dogwood and the big blue egg.

Y’all. This was seriously perfect.

Do you want strawberry shortcake or Black bottom pie. Both is an option.

Flowing

Got all the fountains cleaned out and running. I wish you could hear it.

This one has a piece of marble from our old table growing up.

Ed is trying tomatoes.

A chair full of dog.

A trunk full of flowers from Moore’s.

Priscilla’s turn for Book Club. We read James by Percival Everett.

She always has cute napkins.

Cute Easter touches.

She had new wine markers.

I said I didn’t feel comfortable with this one with my son-in-law’s name for me.

Creole pasta and strawberry salad.

One more. Back to back.

Arranged flowers for a party.

Someone else’s party.

Serious Juju

Sunny nap

Cleaned out my fish pot.

All 3 survived the winter. I have named them appropriately. Small, Medium and Large. All went in last year the same size.

Spiderwort.

We always called it blue-eyed grass. These pictures do not show how vivid these really are.

They now line the path from where we originally planted them.

And are popping up in new spots. The extra sunlight has done amazing things.

Here is the whole pathway and a cute dog.

More sun brings new weeds however. What even are these things?

Thistle almost at its peak. We will need to cut it down before the down flies away or we will have a million come up. I don’t know how Ed is going to cut this thing. I’m a little reminded of The Little Shop of Horrors play by it.

Also, first mosquito bite. One good thing about winter.
