Let’s start with a cuddle.

The girls wanted to learn how to make Mamaw soup. We met at Mary Grace’s house. I had lots of frozen leftovers.

We had fun and really turned out some soup.

We had lots to share.

Coco came along for the lesson.

She was tired when we got home.

Last fire of the season. 🥲

My cute coaster almost gone.

The perp

They have pulverized this mulch. Coco loves to roll in it.

Spring has come and weekend gardeners should beware.

Dog / food blog

We used to call this a Pig in a Poke when the girls were little.

But then I had breakfast with Chris at Eats Diner. It was so good.

Totally relaxed.

The big girl.

Decided to make corned beef for St. Patrick’s Day. As usual I turned on the wrong eye.

It turned out great once I got the correct eye on.

With all this rain we now have a little pond.

It was enjoyed by all. Sandy got totally in it but I didn’t get her picture.

Another one

Another gorgeous day (although incredibly cold and windy). We celebrated Pam’s son Gannon’s fiancé.

I loved doing the flowers. Pussy willows are only in season for a short time so I centered the design around that and her wedding color , blush.

They are so pretty.

We had it out at Livingston again.

This time we had brunch food.

Make your own mimosas.

Another beautiful cake by Carly.

Heaps of presents.

Lots of friends and family.

And even some babies!

Torri, the bride was lovely and sweet.

The babies played under the bride's table.

The bride and her mom, sister and sister-in-law.

Mother of the groom, bride and future sister-in-law

The hostesses. Only a few more to go.

Test

Having trouble with my last blog

The view doesn’t change much

I’ve been sick so my view is mostly dogs and books. This was the start of a toy stealing caper.

She gradually creeps up to take the desired toy

Got it.

Poor Coco she went and watched from the couch.

A little Juju.

Made a great crab salad on advice from Mary Grace.

Coco needed some alone time in our bedroom.

Sandy slipped off my lap in between the ottoman and chair. What a goof.

I did bust out for some time with this one. We had lunch at Amerigos. Then Petco. Got some new toys for all our pups

Chewy cactus.

Coco got a squirrel that looks like her.

The best part was when I got home, Ed had made red beans and rice! He did great.

Pets as usual

Here’s what I can’t understand. I can see 95% of my big backyard from my windows. How is it possible that 90% of the time when I look out I can’t see the dogs?

Where are they?

My cute oriental rug coasters. I love them. So does Sandy.

The culprit.  Looking regal and all.

Pepper enjoying a sunny spot.
