Book club August

We read Lisa See’s latest - Daughters of the Sun and Moon. It was a toughie. 1870’s Los Angeles for Chinese immigrants. Horrible 

Kathy served a Chinese feast. Started with homemade egg rolls. Smashed cucumber salad, fruit, Chinese chicken salad and lovely sauces. 

Beautiful table. 

Her great grandmother’s mud people. And beautiful echo stained silk she made. 

Lovely plate. Those are Tuk Tuk Brussels sprouts. 

It was Jill’s birthday so…cake.
