Spring coming

Azaleas and wildflowers both blooming.

Coco and Sandy are working on destroying this little azalea bush.

They are breaking it off branch by branch.

Coco got a new stick. Peeled it like the beaver she is.

Now it is all opened up. Need a snack?

Getting to get to see Mom again. Flowers compliments of Mary Grace and Ryan.

Baby album

Ok. I’m back by popular demand (Mom). And if this post sounds like a baby album, you can’t say I didn’t warn you.

The puppies loved the snow.

So Ed found his ear plug case (someone snores) on the floor with one missing. Coco was chewing quickly and swallowed something. I had to check poo for 24 hours. Fortunately it was easy with the snow. Found it completely intact via Coco’s digestive system.

It was so pretty. It got old with 6 days of ice.

We couldn’t get down the driveway.

Or out the front door.

Coco cozy inside.

Sandy and Juju sharing.

Dupree had to get a cone. He is fine.

Sandy got spayed. We teased her about her Lumumba cut.

Look at this fun fungus.

A woodpecker lost his nome in a storm.

Finally got to have another fire. Well I included a few things not about the babies.

So cold

It is so cold and more coming.

Good day for17 bean soup.

Couldn’t you just die over that cute leg.

Obviously we gave in on the no dogs on the couch rule.

More dogs

And cats. Juju has decided he likes the little bed.

Ed got a haircut and his barber lady cut his hair very short on the sides. He put on these glasses and he looked like Anderson Cooper. That is not a bad thing.

Ok. Here they were playing with a ROCK.

Lazy playing.

Coco lost a tooth. What does the Tooth Fairy bring a pup? I was always a terrible tooth fairy. I would forget to do it and when the child would wake up to no money I would take money out of my robe pocket and put it under the bed and say it must have fallen here during the night. One time one of the girls lost their tooth after it came out. We were at a family reunion in Carthage. She lost it outside somewhere. We searched to no avail. To make things right we composed a letter to TF explaining the circumstances. Worked out great.

New load of wood. New stack of chews.

Why buy chew bones when you have a stack of firewood.

Birthday! 🎂

Mom’s 94th birthday was a big success. So many people sent sweet cards and gifts. Jan, Linda and I packed bags of gifts and fun food. She also got lunch from Mr Chen’s. She even got hot dogs from her niece. The Patrick’s sent 1 dozen roses. We delivered our bags with balloons to her at St C’s. Socially distant of course.

Had to move that mask to catch a smile. I think she loved it all.

A little beaver showed up at our door.

She loves her sticks.

After a scary half a night in the ER to control Mom’s blood pressure, we got to have a sleep over. St. C’s let me stay with Mom. Bitsy was a bit confused but happy we were there.

Look at her cute spots.

Found Sandy like this.

Something was interfering with my sugar free ice cream enjoyment.

Now I know why they call it cast iron plant.

We used to call it Truffles clubhouse.

These two have beaten the clubhouse down a bit.

How about this black mushroom?

I think it’s just an aged one.

Vick’s kitty had a litter of precious babies.

Mom is so sweet.

Coco in Ed’s chair.

Sweepy girl.

I used to give Truffles carrots to chew. Coco just shreds them and doesn’t eat them. I guess I don’t need a grater after all.

Oven barbecued chicken and vegs.
