San Francisco 2

Headed out to stroll around Fisherman’s wharf.

Everywhere you look is a beautiful scene.

We are here. So happy.

Stopped by Bouidin bakery. They still use the same mother yeast starter from 1849.

We decided to come back for lunch.

Sea lion statue with Alcatraz in the background.

The sea lions in person. Sharing with seagulls

They looked like a big pile of Daphnes.

Then we got someone to recreate our pose from 40 years ago.

These seagulls are huge. Golden Gate in background.

This guy needed some alone time.

As promised.  Clam chowder in a sour dough bowl.

Alcatraz.

Stumbled on the museum of mechanical toys and games. I loved it! Ed had to get out of it.

You could put a quarter in them and they would move. This one was creepy.

I want to go back to see what the drunkards do.

Candy was there. She always said she was a gypsy at heart.

Some where gruesome.

Reminded me of that game the girls played, Oregon Trail.

Cable car.

Walking to Ghirardelli Square.

It looms large. Is CVS is everywhere?p

Perfect moment.

Perfect hot fudge sundae.

Also found the perfect charm for my bracelet.

It even says Golden Gate on the bottom.

San Francisco 1

Coco and I headed to pick up a prescription at CVS

Bags are packed.

Pills are packed.

Finally made it. We were starving so we walked a couple of blocks to In N Out burger. Pretty good.

Before we left Sandy was getting sick of the rain.

Then it cleared up   Time for a little wood management.

Retro

Sophie needed a picture of herself circa 1994. That search dragged me down memory lane. Sorry if I texted any of these to you but wanted Mom to be able to see.

She was only about 3 in the famous Crista the cave girl days.

I love this one of Mom reading a poem she wrote. Look how Dad is looking at her!

Remember this hill they all road down on a kiddie car?

I don’t even know what to say here. MG has a plunger?

Chris and Ivy…in a box

Ivy loved her Zorro costume.

Of course they had to have a sword fight.

Mom’s favorite costume. Russian girl.

Mom in the backyard at Riverwood sewing a bridesmaids dress for Jan’s wedding!

Speaking of sewing. Linda and I in our hand sewn swimsuits. You can see the cot in the background where we cooked our selves. Resulting in current skin problems

Dad golfing in Alaska.

Camping in the golden age.  Literally gold everything was gold. Floors, fridge, car, camper. Mamaw Brown waving.

Grandkids at the lake.

Sophie’s 3rd. My Barbie as Belle cake fail. Kept piling on Bundt cakes. That girl was tall.

Individual handmade bear princesses for everyone. I may have been making up for just having Mary Grace.

And then there was Sophie’s 3rd. Barbie on the beach with brown sugar sand.

Current life. Pippin.
